Their new combo kit comes with reasonable specs, somewhat different from the competition, and indeed in a good way. Kobalt launched a new cordless power tool lineup with the most contemporary technical benefits.

Their cordless power tools are best used by DIYers and homeowners. Each tool is power by a brushless motor. The brushless technology makes sure the units will stay in your service for a long time, and it also maximizes performance.

That’s not the only thing that stands out when it comes to this tool kit. It comes with a new and improved battery that has 50% more power than its predecessor. Things we liked about it

The brushless technology really stands out, especially as it comes at such a low price with this tool kit. Each unit has a brushless motor -which means longer work life and better performance for both of them. Both tools are quite powerful for their size.

Things we didn’t like

The LED light is neat and comes in handy, but it’s trigger activated -doesn’t work otherwise. It’s still useful, but not as useful as it could be as it makes starting out a bit more difficult when the light is low.

There is no charger in the package. You get a battery, a contractor’s bag, but no charger. Really puzzling -anyone would trade off the bag for the charger.
